Britain's latest and different cyclo cross race taking the riders along the very edge of beautiful Rutland Water, providing the most varied and potentially best cyclo-cross course in Britain. This event incorporates the final round of the British Cycling National Trophy cyclo-cross races for the Winter 2010/2011 season.

Rutland County Show:

A lovely rural show which is a firm favourite in the Rutland calendar. The show includes a range of animal showing classes, country stalls, funfair and a wide variety of displays such as vintage cars and agricultural machinery. Showcasing the best of Rutland, this show is not to be missed.

Dambuster Triathlon:

Date: Saturday 18th June 2011
Venue: Rutland Water

With a 1.5KM swim, 42KM on a bike and then a 10KM run, the Dambuster is one tough event which races through the serenity of Rutland. Established in 2002 the Dambuster triathlon is a major fixture on the British triathlon circuit. Throughout the competitors challenge the Whitwell site maintains a party atmosphere for spectators.

The British Birdwatching Fair – 'Birdfair':
